HOW TO ORDER

Why do I want to create an account?

It makes it easier for you to check your order status. It allows you to check records of previous orders you have placed with us. It keeps records of orders you have not yet completed, so you can continue from where you left off.

The information you provide us when you create an account is only used to the extent that is needed to successfully process your order. You may also want to read our privacy policy, but in a nut shell, we treat your information as if it was our own, we respect it, and protect it. We don't sell it, trade it, or share it.

Search for products

1. We offer a very powerful and easy to use search feature to help you find anything on our web site. You can search products by any word/s contained within any of the fields related to this product, i.e. searching for the product ID L4-04AA, will result in one and only one product being found, since the product ID is unique; however, searching for "Bromine" will result in the finding of all the products that contain the word "bromine". If you use a common word to search, this could result in a very long list of available products. To narrow down the search results, you can use a limiting parameter, i.e. "Chlorine 25" will find all products that contain the words "chlorine" and "25". You can also use the advanced search feature. This will allow you to search for a string in a chosen category, a specific manufacturer, a specific price range, or a chosen range date on which the product was entered into our data base. You can use a single parameter, or a combination of several parameters.

2. Products can also be found by clicking on the related category. Categories are listed on the left hand side of your browser window. Clicking on a category will provide you with a list of subcategories, or products available under this category. Keep on clicking on the desired subcategory until you reach a list of products.

3. Once you are shown a list of available products, you can place it into your shopping cart by clicking on the [buy now] icon, or you can get more detailed information by clicking on the product name link. This will bring you to the product description page, where a picture of the item is shown, if available. Here you can also click on the [add to cart] icon to place this item into your shopping cart.

4. The shopping cart contents, located on the right hand corner, under the long blue line, will show the current contents of your shopping cart, along with the current order sub-total.

5. To go back to the home page, you can click on the catalog link, located on the left corner on the blue top line under the company logo, or the logo located on the top left corner of every page.

6. When you add an item to the shipping cart, you are given the opportunity to select the number of items you wish to order, or “remove” the item from the shopping cart. 7. At any point you can check out by clicking on the check out icon, located on the top right hand corner, or by clicking on the Checkout link, located on the right hand side in the top blue line, under the company logo.

8. To complete the check out process, you will be asked to login, if you are a returning customer, or create an account if you are a new customer. It is very important that your email address be correct and readily accessible to you. We will attempt to contact you via email if any problem or question, regarding your order, arises. If we are not successful contacting you via email, we may attempt to call you.

Note that if something were to interrupt your ordering process, you can quit your browser, even disconnect, and your products will still remain in your shopping cart next time you login. These products will remain in your shopping cart until you check them out, or remove them.

9. Once logged in, you will be able to pick your favorite payment method. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express; we also accept checks or money orders/cashier checks.

Credit Card payment: We will ship your order as soon as the transaction is processed, most of the time, the same day.
Personal check: We will ship your order as soon as check clears, this may take a few days, usually around 5 week days.
Money Order/Cashier Check: We will ship your order as soon as the check/MO clears, around 5 working days.

Even though our shopping cart offers the option to enter a credit card name different to the name of the person placing the order, the name on the credit card MUST be the same as the name of the person placing the order. Also, until the customer establishes a commercial relationship with Pool Patio and Beyond Inc., we can only ship to the credit card's billing address.

After entering your payment option, you will be presented with the complete bill. This will include the total charge for all products ordered, any applicable Tax, plus $ 8.99 Handling charges. This is your last chance to change the order, if you are happy with the way it looks, please click on [confirm order]. This last step may take a minute or two, please be patient. The order is now sent to Pool Patio and Beyond Inc. At this point you should receive a confirmation email message, with the details of your order, and a link to our secure server where you can review your order.

If you want to review the status of your order, go to http://poolpatioandbeyond.com, login, click on [my account] link located on the top blue bar, click on [order history]. You will be presented with a history of the orders you have placed and the status for each one of them. The status can be:

Pending: We are reviewing it
Processing: We are filling it
Delivered: Your order is in the carrier's hands

Delivered: If your order has been cancelled, there will be a comment related to who cancelled it, and why it was cancelled

Are all the Products you carry On Your Website?

No, we carry many more products than we display on our web site. There are also products that we normally don't carry, but that we can get, as a service to our loyal customers. If you would like us to carry a specific product/s, please let us know. We can't guarantee that we will honor every request, but we can guarantee that we will consider every single request. Please click on the “contact us” link, located under the information header on the bottom left hand side of your browser window.

Can I Fax or Mail in My Order?

Sure, you can print our order form from our web site, or you can provide us with the necessary information on your own form, and fax it to us at (206) 984-2704 We provide 24/7 coverage on our fax orders

You can also mail your order. We don't encourage it because of the added delay, and because of there is never a guarantee that we will receive your order, but if you want to order through the mail, you are welcome to do so.

We provide 24/7 coverage on our fax and mail in orders.

Note that orders received on holydays, after hours, or on weekends, will be promptly processed; however, they can only be shipped next working day.

Can I Order From You If I Don't Have a Credit Card?

Sure you can. The easiest way is to print our order form from our web site. Otherwise, you can print all the necessary information on your own piece of paper, and mail it to us, along with the check, money order, or whatever form of payment you choose. Please don't forget to include a phone number, and a valid email address (if available); in case we have any questions about your order, or if any problem arises.

How Do I Know The Status of my order, Pending, Processed, Shipped?

Orders are valid only after Pool Patio and Beyond Inc. accepts them. We process orders soon after we receive them, if everything if fine, the order is filled and shipped, and you are notified via email.

In-Stock orders placed Monday-Friday will be shipped the same day, if the order is placed before the shipping deadline, else it will be shipped next day, Monday if the order was placed late Friday, to early Monday.

If you need to change an order you have placed, it is best if you send us email immediately, if email is not available, you can also call us as soon as possible 1 (630) 882-0230. Please have your phone number ready. If your order is already in the carrier' truck, or on its way, we can't change anything. If your order is still in our hands, then we can change it, or even cancel it, if you so desire.

When Will I Receive My Order?

Most orders will arrive within 2 to 5 days.

If at least one of the items you ordered in on back order, we will keep you updated on its status.

If your order is oversized, or overweight it must be shipped via truck line. Items shipped via truck line usually take somewhat longer to be delivered, and require the presence of an adult to sing the acceptance form.

I received my order, but it is incorrect, what do I do?

Please send us email explaining the problem, if that is not possible, you can also call us at 1 (630) 882-0230. Please have your order with you; we need your phone number, name, address, etc. The more information you provide, the faster we can take care of the problem.

I didn't receive all the items I ordered, what happened?

Some items are shipped from different warehouses, and will probably be delivered on different dates and/or times. We will email you an update as far as what to expect. If you still believe you didn't receive everything you ordered, please email us a brief note explaining the discrepancy.
