Our pool chemicals are of the highest quality, and they are compatible with all pools that use chlorine or bromine as sanitizers, if you use Biguanide (polyhexamethylene biguanide, or PHMB) this is not the case.

Biguanide (also know as SoftSoak, Baquacil, BaquaSpa, Clear Comfort, PolyClear, Maxipolish, Splashes, and Revacil) is incompatible with many of the pool chemicals that are used in chlorine or bromine treated pools, in particular: chlorine, bromine, salt water chlorine generatosr, potassium monopersulfate shocks, copper algaecides, copper and/or silver ionizers, and some metal removers and sequestering agents.
